When Facebook rolled out their most recent profile design change, the response amongst Facebook users was familiar:

Stop changing everything, Facebook!

French artist Alexandre Oudin on the other hand decided to take advantage of the opportunity. The result?

Since then, Facebook users have begun to take the idea and applied some of their own creativity.

So, how do you go about hacking your profile in similar fashion? Web and Graphic designer, Irving Briscoe created a video tutorial:

I’ve recently heard about this “hack.” I really like the idea and I think it’s really creative. But, since it just shows your most recently tagged photos, what I have seen is that some people create joke banners and tag their friends so that their friend’s profile will show a banner in the same fashion as your tutorial but they don’t like it. I wonder if facebook will implement a function where you get to choose the pictures.

I also wish you picked a better tutorial. This guy’s voice is not interesting and I feel like there are better tutorials out there.

What do you mean by being able to choose the pictures?

Choose the tagged pictures that are displayed. I don’t have the new profile so I’m not entirely sure, but I think for the small 5 pictures that are displayed, it’s your more recently tagged pictures.
